Our family, our kitchen
In 1996, Steve and Julie opened this place after 23 years of working in restaurants — and they built it the way they wanted it done. That same commitment to scratch-made food and a warm table is still here every day.
The first kitchen
Steve and Julie redesigned the former Silverman's kitchen from the ground up — adding stoves, grills, and ovens to handle a menu built entirely from scratch.
Food made the right way
Pierogi, stuffed cabbage, city chicken, kielbasa, homemade soups — these are the dishes this kitchen is known for, and they're made the same way today as they were on day one. Fresh ingredients, nothing shortcut.
The next generation
Danny and David now run the restaurant, carrying on the same values their parents built. Casual, inviting, scratch-made — same as always.
A Livonia institution
Nearly three decades in, Steve's is a Livonia institution — recognized by Detroit Eater and Best of Metro Detroit. Open seven days a week, and glad you're here.
